From quiet study areas to project rooms: The libraries offer spaces suited to different learning styles and situations.

Central Library (LC)
  • Quiet learning zones: They are located on levels 3, 4, 5 & 6.

  • Silent rooms: If you are looking for a place for particularly quiet and concentrated learning, you’ll find it in our two silent rooms on levels 5 & 6. These areas are also laptop-free zones.

  • PC workstations: There are a large number of computers available for your research on Level 4.

  • Mobile tables for groups: Would you like to talk to your fellow students? Then use our mobile tables on level 4, which you can adapt to the size of your group.

  • Project rooms: The project rooms are of course also suitable for meetings (bookable via rooms.wu.ac.at). Here you can collaborate with your working group on a large screen or hold a virtual meeting.

  • Chill-out area: For a study break, you'll find snack and coffee machines on Level 4, as well as sofas and lounge chairs with a view of the green Prater.

Library for Law (D3)

There are also comfortable study areas, as well as project rooms for your group meetings, in the Library for Law.

  • Learning zones: On Levels 0 and 1, you'll find various study areas with a total of 140 workstations.

  • Project rooms: The 11 project rooms, which vary in size (accommodating 4 to 12 people), are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • PC workstations: Eight PCs are available for research — two centrally located for quick searches and six in quiet areas for longer sessions.
