Study & Chill in the WU Library

Are you looking for a place to write your thesis? Do you need a space for your group meetings? In the WU Library, we have suitable learning spaces for you.

Quiet study zones & PC workstations: You will find about 1,800 nice study and workspaces in the three library locations (Central Library, Library for Law, and Library for Social Sciences).

Mobile tables & high tables: You want to discuss a topic with your fellow students? Then you can use our mobile tables on level 4 in the Central Library, which you can adapt to the size of your group. Height-adjustable high tables are available at the Central Library as well as in the Library for Law.

Communicative Zone: If you study a lot, you will need a break every now and then. That is why there is a communicative zone on level 4 in the Central Library. You will find coffee and snack machines as well as sofas and beanbags for your study breaks with a relaxing view of the green Prater.

Break timer discs: If you are taking a study break, you can reserve your space for 60 minutes. Simply set the start time of your break and place the disc clearly visible on your workstation. This way, your seat is “blocked” for 60 minutes. If you are not back at the end of the 60 minutes, other readers can put your materials away and use the table.
