Innovation Community

The Innovation Community makes innovation at WU visible, makes its impact tangible, and connects its members, thereby contributing to the development and continuous advancement of a sustainable innovation culture.

After completing our programmes, the real innovation journey is only just beginning. Equipped with new knowledge, fresh ideas, and valuable experiences, our participants bring innovation and facilitation into their daily work and actively contribute to the continued development of WU.

To ensure that this exchange continues beyond the end of the programme, we established the Innovation Community. It connects people from our innovation programmes across WU and creates a space to share experiences, learn from one another, and further develop ideas together.

Through our Teams channel, community members stay connected with the Innovation Office and with each other. Here, we regularly share news, events, and opportunities from the Innovation Office. At the same time, all members are encouraged to ask questions, exchange ideas, and share best practices and learnings from their day-to-day work.

To create even more space for this exchange, we launched the Innovation Day. Guided by the motto “Making Innovation Visible. Creating Impact Together.”, this event brings together the Innovation Community as well as all WU employees interested in innovation. The programme features best practices from across WU, hands-on workshops, inspiring discussions, and opportunities to connect with innovation-minded colleagues from throughout the university. Participants can learn from one another, gain fresh perspectives, and take away new ideas and inspiration for their own work.
