The Teaching Awards for Innovative and Excellent Teaching are presented annually by the Vice-Rector for Academic Programs and Student Affairs and the Austrian Students' Union (ÖH). This year, too, the great commitment and outstanding achievements of the teachers are evident. More than 3,300 students took the opportunity to recognize the enormous commitment and nominated 765 teachers in the Excellent Teaching Awards. A jury then selected the 10 award winners.

The focus of the Innovative Teaching Award 2022 was "International Teaching and Learning". In this sense, the award was given to teaching concepts that use innovative teaching and learning methods to offer students an international or intercultural experience that allows them to acquire transferable skills.

From the Department FAS, Markus Patloch-Kofler, Institute for Accounting and Auditing, received this award.
