On May 9th our Institute was paid a visit by Bavarian State Minister Judith Gerlach and her advisors. This gave us an opportunity to present our research activities, in particular our Unblocked initiative as well as our approach to the newly emerging field of token engineering. In relation to this we wanted to emphasize the importance of scientific groundwork when dealing with new technologies. Especially focussed in our dialogue were the general possibilites of blockchain technology and the promotion of interdisciplinary research. After a productive dialogue we concluded the visit with a short tour of our campus.
