We’re excited to announce the launch of AccountingBench — a new benchmark for measuring AI accounting intelligence across financial accounting, management accounting, and tax.

AccountingBench is designed to provide researchers and practitioners with a structured, evidence-based view of where today’s AI models stand in accounting - across 520 tasks, 10 models, and 5 regulatory frameworks.

One result stands out immediately: IFRS accuracy is remarkably high.
Leading models achieve 96–100% accuracy on IFRS tasks, suggesting that AI systems are becoming increasingly reliable in one of the world’s most important financial reporting frameworks.

This is just the beginning. AccountingBench is an ongoing effort - we’ll be continuously expanding the task library, adding new models, and broadening regulatory coverage as the field evolves.
