Martina Scheuch, LL.B.

Biographical Sketch

Martina Scheuch is a teaching and research assistant at the Research Institute for Urban Management and Governance [Insittute for Law and Governance]. She successfully completed her bachelor’s degree at WU Vienna and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business law. Her interests lie in environmental law and governance, and she is currently writing her master’s thesis in this field, following the completion of her specialization and participation in the Moot Court.  

In addition to WU Vienna, Martina has also studied at Bocconi University (as part of the THEMIS exchange program) and at Tilburg University (as part of the engage.eu program). In 2026, she completed a research internship at the European Public Law Organization in Athens. Her further professional experience includes an internship at the Department of Environmental Law of the City of Vienna (MA 22) as well as working at a law firm and a legal tech startup.  

Additionally, Martina works as a freelance journalist for the Climate Lab, where she primarily reports on sustainable development and the circular economy.
