In the publication „Yet another black box: brokering agencies in the evolving market for live-in migrant care work in Austria and Germany“, Simone Leiber, Verena Rossow, August Österle und Timm Frerk compare developments in and characteristics of brokering agencies in the market for migrant care work in private households in Germany and Austria. It shows that – despite the different legal context for migrant care work in the two countries – highly precarious work relationships and working conditions as well as challenges in quality assurance remain unresolved.
