NEXT is a capacity building programme for social enterprises that want to take their successful social innovation to the next level. Twelve selected applicants are given the opportunity to participate in a programme which consists of three modules. In these modules the participants are assisted in further developing their organisation, prepared for scaling and strengthened in their leadership skills. In addition to lectures and workshops the participants receive support from mentors and other experts in producing a development plan for their innovative project. The modules, held in German, are tailored to the needs of social enterprises that passed the start-up phase and already gained initial experience with prototypes, target groups and the social enterprise environment.

After successful completion of the programme three winners are selected by an expert jury. The winners each receive € 30,000 for their project. One of the three winning organisations receives an additional € 5,000 through an internal vote by Bank Austria.
