We are a young interdisciplinary team with a passion for researching and teaching topics in the intersection of retailing and data science. Our main objective is to equip our students with the required knowledge to become the next generation of marketing managers and to master the challenges posed by the digitalization of the retail landscape. In our research, we follow a data-driven approach by integrating our expertise in state-of-the-art data science methods with our domain-specific expertise in retail management in order to help managers and policy makers to make better decisions. Because the results of our research are of interest to a wide audience, it is also our goal to disseminate our findings to the general public.
