Dennis Kolcava is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Political Economy of Public Policy. Before joining WU, Dennis worked as a post-doctoral researcher at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where he also completed his doctorate. Dennis studies political processes and governance institutions that facilitate or inhibit transitions towards more sustainable global economic activity.  His current research addresses key issues in this area, including what economic and political factors are driving re-allocations of environmental impacts throughout the global economy, and what forms of sustainability policy designs citizens would support. His work has been published in disciplinary journals such as the Journal of European Public Policy or the British Journal of Political Science as well as general interest periodicals such as Global Environmental Change or Nature Sustainability.
