Dennis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Political Economy of Public Policy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU for short). Before joining WU, he worked at ETH Zurich where he completed his doctorate. His current research addresses what economic and political factors are driving distributional effects throughout the global economy, what forms of economic policy designs citizens would support, and how to study citizens' preferences in this context. His work has been published in disciplinary journals such as the Journal of European Public Policy or the British Journal of Political Science as well as general interest periodicals such as Global Environmental Change or Nature Sustainability.
