Merjona Lamaj completed her Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Her master’s thesis was awarded the iwp-Research Prize by the Institute of Austrian Certified Public Accountants. Since March 2022, she has been pursuing the PhD Program in Social and Economic Sciences at WU, where she also works as a Research Associate (prae doc) at the Department of International Accounting. As part of her master’s studies, she specialized in International Accounting, Controlling, and Corporate Finance. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant at WU, where she focused on empirical issues in international financial reporting.
