Institute for Spatial and Social-Ecological Transformations (ISSET)RSS

ISSET is an interdisciplinary institute at the Department of Socioeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business that unites research from socioeconomics, geography, political ecology, and planning focusing on the contours, challenges, multiple causes, and consequences of past, current, and future spatial and social-ecological transformations. In cooperation with the International Karl Polanyi Society, it aims at contributing to an interdisciplinary social science of economics by linking economics and other social sciences.
