On April 24, 2025, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Frank Schorkopf, Professor of Public Law and European Law at the University of Göttingen, gave an exciting lecture at the Institute for the Internationalization of Law on the topic: "Constitutional History in European Law – Why it is Necessary to Give European Integration Back Its Legal History." Prof. Dr. Schorkopf vividly demonstrated the foundations of the European integration process and its ambivalences. Using numerous original historical and legal sources, he illustrated clearly and memorably how the supranational constitutional debate has developed.
