On April 2, Ges. MMag. Mourad Mahidi, E.MA, spoke about the autocratic challenges for the protection of human rights during a Brownbag lunch on international law at WU. Mr. Mahidi is Deputy Head of the Department for Human Rights and Ethnic Group Affairs and Head of Division for Ethnic Group Affairs and Minority Protection at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. In his lecture, he used his diverse diplomatic experience to shed light on the current challenges for international human rights protection in a vivid and practical way. Afterwards, Mr. Mahidi answered questions from the audience and provided further exciting insights into his everyday professional life and the practical dimension of international human rights protection.
