The Institute of Ethics in Management supervises Bachelor theses in German and English. For the supervision of a Bachelor thesis, a thematic overlap of the thesis with the research areas of the institute is required. 

In addition to the information provided on this page, the WU rules for writing a bachelor thesis apply, in particular with regard to plagiarism, citation style, etc.

After initial contact, you are expected write a three-page exposé. If your exposé is approved by the respective supervisor (possibly after additional feedback rounds), you are officially accepted. The prerequisite for the supervision of your bachelor's thesis is the successful completion/parallel completion of the course Academic Research Techniques (Grundlagen wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens, in German).

You will be informed about the specific timeframe together with other students who are writing their thesis at the institute at the same time. At the Institute of Ethics in Management, there are two possible starting dates for writing your proposal/bachelor's thesis (one before the start of the semester, i.e. in March and one in October). You will be informed about the next start date during the initial meeting.
