The Education Sciences Group cordially invites you to attend the webinar “Knowledge and Disciplines in Higher Education (HE) Research”, organized by Network 22 “Research in Higher Education” of the European Educational Research Association (EERA). The event will take place on December 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. via Zoom and was co-organized by Dr. Erna Nairz, co-convenor of the network.

The webinar will focus on two research projects on the topics of knowledge and disciplines in higher education research:

1. Felipe Sánches Burgos, psychologist and doctoral candidate in educational research at Lancaster University in Great Britain, will discuss the (inter)disciplinarity of higher education and research, its significance, and its influence on the development of the field.

2. Vesna Holubek, higher education researcher and doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Education and Culture at the University of Tampere in Finland, will examine the concept of knowledge - especially pedagogical knowledge - and its representation in higher education research literature.
