The 45^th conference of the European Higher Education Society took place from September 3 to 6, 2023 at the modern campus of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Linz. The highly topical theme of this year's EAIR conference was: "Shaping the World of Change - Higher Education as a Key Enabler". In addition to intensive exchanges on content and inspiring presentations by keynote speakers, there was also plenty of opportunity for researchers to network, including at a joint dinner in the impressive St. Florian Abbey.

At the EAIR conference, the Education Sciences Group was represented by Sabine Weiß and Maria Pöschl. Together, they gave a presentation on the ongoing OeNB project on the topic: "The interplay between habitus of non-traditional students and university field conditions".
