Two field trips took place in the context of the BiWi II seminars led by Jan Christoph Heiser and Sabine Weiß. The thematic starting point was the previously developed theses of educational anthropology (Plessner/Fink/Burchardt/Harari) and the different images of humanity, including their (practical) consequences from an interdisciplinary perspective.

One group visited the pathological-anatomical collection in the "Narrenturm" (NHM) to learn about homo patiens. The second excursion led to the Weltmuseum, where the focus was primarily on the "perceived other" (Wierlacher) and the related constructions of foreignness.
