Franziska Lessky receives funding as part of the High Potential Contact Weeks

Since 2015, Franziska Lessky has been conducting research at the Education Sciences Group at WU Wien on the situation of working students who are the first in their family to study (first-in-family students).

As part of the High Potential Contact Weeks program, she will now have the opportunity to spend a month conducting research at the University of Wollongong (UOW) with Prof. Sarah O'Shea in July 2018. Prof. O'Shea is one of Australia's leading researchers on student equity and will enable Franziska Lessky to research the outreach program “In2Uni,” which was initiated and already evaluated at UOW, as well as the long-standing best practice program “AimHigh” at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) under the direction of Dr. Ann Jardine.
