Group members represented with individual presentations and in symposium

The ECER Conference 2019 in Hamburg, Germany - organized by the European Educational Research Association (EERA) and thus also Europe's largest educational research conference - was held under the motto: "Education in an Era of Risk - the Role of Educational Research for the Future". The Education Sciences Group was represented with two presentations.

As part of the symposium "Contributing to Better Learning Opportunities and a Better School Environment: Research into Students' School Alienation and Disengagement", which was chaired by Prof. Andreas Hadjar, Prof. Erna Nairz-Wirth and Franziska Lessky presented a study on "Self-Regulated Learning – Disengagement and Dropping Out".

Franziska Lessky also gave a presentation entitled: "Being The First In The Family Attending University And Working Term-Time. Do These Characteristics Make You A Student At Risk?".
