26th Meeting of the Austrian Higher Education Research Network (HOFO)

Since 2015, the Austrian Higher Education Research Network has organised a meeting approximately twice a year.

The 26th Hofo Network Meeting will take place on 23 June 2026 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) (all day). Thematically, we will build on the 25th Hofo Network Meeting, revisit the Higher Education Strategy 2040 and further deepen our joint exchange.

In particular, we will discuss the findings of the latest FORWIT report (https://forwit.at/dokument/analyse-des-oesterreichischen-hochschulsystems/). In addition to expert input on the study from Thomas König (FORWIT), Sabine Koch and Katharina Riesinger (BMFWF) have also agreed to provide insights into the initial findings of the working groups on the Higher Education Strategy.
