Anton Wahrstätter is a researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Distributed Ledgers and Token Economy. Previously, he completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics (BSc) and Business Law (LLB), as well as
a Master's degree (MSc) in Digital Business at the University of Innsbruck. In his work, Anton mainly deals with security and privacy issues regarding the blockchain applications Bitcoin and Ethereum. Anton
combines technical know-how with a passion for decentralized technologies and Big Data. His focus at the institute is on quantitative network analysis and data engineering. Currently, Anton is studying Blockchain and Digital Currency (MSc) at the University of Nicosia and is an active PhD student at WU.
