Franzisca Weder published a new research article in the Journal Sustainability with colleagues from the University of Ljubljana: "Sustainable Consumption in Context: A Cross-Cultural Study of Social Representations"

Talks

• Franzisca Weder and Florentina Höhs presented their research project at the ^70th annual conference of the German Communication Association (DGPuK) in Berlin: "The Evolution of a new Communicator Role. A typology of Sustainability, Environmental, CSR, DEI and ESG related roles related to impact, agency, and their transformative and transformational potential" (picture attached)

• Alice Cheng from Poole College of Management, New York State University visited our department and gave a talk on " AI and Strategic Crisis Communication "

• Maria Nikolova from University of National and World Economy (UNWE) Bulgaria visited our department and gave a talk on "Bulgarian Public Administration's Social Media Communications Strategies During COVID 19 Crisis"

Networks

The first 'regular' meeting of the "Research Network Media, Communication and Sustainability" (FNMKN) took place as part of the ^70th annual conference of the German Communication Association (DGPuK) in Berlin. Together with Prof. Michael Brüggemann (University of Hamburg) and Prof. Sigrid Kannengießer (University of Münster), Franzisca Weder organised a workshop on the topic of transformative communication.
