About us

The Department of Business Communication is one of Europe's leading training and research centres in the field of business communication. Our research and teaching focuses on aspects of language, culture and communication in business contexts at the macro, meso and micro levels.
Based on our long-standing tradition in foreign language education with its specialised language focus, our teaching today combines our three major fields of research: communication studies, linguistics and intercultural communication. These subject areas also reflect the core topics of our Master's programme in Business Communication.
