About us

Welcome to the WU Applied AI Network, a dynamic hub within the university's intellectual ecosystem dedicated to Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI).

WU researchers across all disciplines and departments are actively contributing to the advancing the frontiers of Applied AI knowledge. Many others use AI in their daily lives and are interested in keeping up to date on the many fast developments that are going on in this field.

With the WU Applied AI Network, we aim to create a platform to help all people interested or already engaged in AI research and practice meet, exchange ideas and to provide an information hub for all WU activities related to Applied AI.

As a first step, we have created an events page where all AI-related activities at WU are catalogued. Kindly share upcoming event announcements with us, and we will promptly feature them!

Our next step is organizing a founding workshop for the WU Applied AI Network. We want to hear from you which aspects you would value in an Applied AI Network and how you would like to get involved. Keep an eye out for upcoming emails fixing a date and outlining the workshop details. Your participation is indispensable for developing the WU Applied AI community!
