In addition to papers reporting completed studies, we also welcome submissions of preregistered study proposals. All papers accepted for the conference are assigned a discussant.

Deadline for submission of papers/proposals to the Symposium and papers/proposals to the PhD Workshop/Early-to-Mid Career Workshop is March 31st, 2025. All authors will be notified by June 1st, 2025.

A PhD workshop precedes the symposium on Thursday, September 11th, 2025. At the PhD workshop, young researchers get feedback on their PhD proposals or papers from experienced international scholars in auditing research. Students whose paper is accepted for plenary presentation in the PhD workshop get a conference fee waiver.

For the first time, a workshop for Early-to-Mid-Career faculty precedes the symposium on Thursday, September 11th, 2025. The workshop offers faculty an opportunity to interact with peers and more senior colleagues to discuss the new demands and challenges they encounter.
