Below you can find sighseeing highlights for your stay in Vienna. The historical sights of the inner city, such as the Hofburg and the Viennese Prater (Wiener Prater) as well as the Schloss Schönbrunn are one of the most famous sights of Vienna

A 5-minute walk from the conference venue, you can explore the Wiener Prater—an amusement park combined with green spaces, attractions and opportunities to enjoy a coffee at the Wiener Rösthaus im Prater. For a unique perspective take a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel and enjoy the beautiful views of the city.

Hofburg

Hofburg

Exploring the inner city on foot is a true highlight of Vienna. A walk around the historic Ringstraße offers photo opportunities of the Hofburg and invites you to wander through the gardens surrounding Heldenplatz.

Schloss Schönbrunn

Schloss Schönbrunn

Schloss Schönbrunn is about 20 minutes from the city center, but can be worth a visit if you plan to spend an additional day in Vienna. Taking the U4 to Schönbrunn directly takes you to the park areas and gardens surrounding Schloss Schönbrunn. One stop further - in Hietzing - you may take the opportunity to experience the worlds oldest (and most beautiful) zoo with the Schönbrunner Zoo.
