I am a PhD-candidate, young researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Institutional and Heterodox Economics, WU – Vienna University of Economics and Business.
I hold two master degrees from WU Vienna, in economics as well as in socio-ecological economics and policy.
My research focusses on various sub-fields of political economy as a post-disciplinary research field. It spans from critical discursive and cultural perspectives on economy and public economic debates to political economy perspectives on social ecological transformation towards post-growth and degrowth societies. Therefore, I closely collaborate with other researchers from linguistics, ecological economics, economics of inequality and critical political economy. I have teaching experience in institutional, heterodox and ecological economics as well as economic policy.
In a voluntary capacity, I am chairman and founding member of the Society for Pluralism in Economics Vienna as well as part of the executive board of BEIGEWUM, a think tank on societal, economic and ecological alternatives.
