Motivation letter

Students applying for the specialization Health and Social Policy are required to submit a motivation letter by answering some guided questions in the format of a quiz on Canvas. These questions ask applicants to:

• Describe an experience that demonstrates their commitment to learning about health and social policy,

• Identify a specific societal problem that motivates their interest in this field,

• Provide arguments from the fields of Economics/Social Sciences/Business Administration/Law,

• Explain how the specialization fits into their studies and contributes to their career goals.

On the use of AI tools

Authoring tasks should not be transferred to AI. However, AI can be used to assist with these tasks, for example to support the initial screening of existing research.  Still, any kind of supporting input from AI must be critically reviewed, reflected upon and deepened by the author who bears full responsibility for the content of their submission.
