Research Visit Murat Tarakci

Murat shared his fascinating ongoing research with us PhD students, walking us through its theoretical foundations and preliminary findings. As an AMJ Associate Editor, he also offered valuable insights into the dos and don'ts of writing a publishable paper for a top-tier journal.

• Choose an interesting topic is crucial, as it’s what we, as PhD students, will be working on throughout our long academic journey.

• Engage with the Community early to receive feedback, gain inspiration, and move the work forward.

• Beyond the findings themselves (the What), clearly define the So-what and Now-what significantly strengthens the value of a paper.
