"Department Appreciation Day" (DAD) 2026

The Department of Management held its annual “Department Appreciation Day” (DAD) on 7 October 2026 to celebrate especially the achievements of junior colleagues, and successes beyond WU-wide recognition. Expanded to welcome numerous new colleagues, the event gave new members a comprehensive overview of department activities, while introducing them to existing staff (and vice versa). To achieve this aim, each organizational unit prepared a poster highlighting its significant milestones over the past five years, current initiatives, new team members, and five-year future goals. Attendees engaged with these displays during a 30-minute opening vernissage, which was followed by an informal networking exchange for department members. The DAD was co organized by Renate Gellner, Florentine Maier, Christian Gehart and Tobias Polzer.
