ENDOWMENT ASSET MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

25-27 August 2014, Hertenstein, Switzerland

The Institut für Strategische Kapitalmarktforschung (ISK) at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien presented for its second time a unique and innovative conference devoted to the frontiers of research and practice for endowment management. Generously funded by the P&K Pühringer Gemeinnützige Stiftung, the conference took place at the newly built Campus Hotel Hertenstein at Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. The purpose of the conference was to bring together leading academic researchers and endowment practitioner professionals to discuss topical research and to shape the future of applied investment research for endowments and long term investors such as sovereign wealth funds.

The conference featured a mix of invited talks, panel discussions and case studies all pertinent to the field of endowment management. There was ample opportunity for group input, questions and interaction. In addition special social events took place such as a musical performance, wine tasting, and a gala dinner. The program also featured a tour of the endowment center, research facilities and architectural aspects of the Park Hotel Vitznau, nearby.
