Two teams of students from the International Marketing and Management (IMM) bachelor specialization have received the Best Market Entry Plan Presentation (MEPP) Awards for their outstanding strategic business expansion initiatives. These awards, presented as part of the Global Business Planning course, celebrate the most thorough, creative, and effectively executed market entry plans created throughout the semester.

The winning teams concentrated on formulating and showcasing real-world strategies for international expansion, addressing the complexities of launching businesses in new markets. Their projects exhibited extensive market research, strategic insight, and innovative execution plans, setting them apart from their peers.

Wine-In-Time / Italy (Rome)

Wine-In-Time is an innovative wine retail startup offering curated wine selections and personalized recommendations through a convenient e-commerce platform. By combining expertise with digital accessibility, the company makes premium wines easily available to modern consumers. Recognizing Italy’s strong wine culture and Rome’s dynamic urban market, the “GoGlobal” team (Benussi Lenardo, Reinbold Francis Vincent, Hentschel Elia Sophie, Sassler Raphael Christoph, Lackner Lina-Marie, Thier Jaquelin-Chiara) has developed a targeted market entry strategy to position Wine-In-Time as a contemporary and customer-focused wine retailer in the Italian capital.

Bikely / UK

Bikely is a mobility startup offering flexible bike subscription and leasing services that make sustainable urban transportation accessible and affordable. By reducing upfront costs and promoting eco-friendly commuting, Bikely supports greener cities and modern mobility habits. With increasing demand for sustainable transport solutions in the UK, the “Fantastic Five” team (Al-Barri Sandra, Mikulcik Alina Luzi, Iziumchenko Kristina, Suchel Philipp, Link Ludwig) has developed a comprehensive market entry strategy to position Bikely as a convenient and sustainable mobility partner in the British market.
