The Annual Report of the Health Economics and Policy Group has been published for 2025.

Our highlights in 2025 include:

The HEP team had a total of 12 publications including 6 articles in peer-reviewed academic journals and one book chapter.
The Aging Health Capital project led by Daniela Weber was successfully completed in 2025 and resulted in nine peer-reviewed scientific journal articles within the four-year project period, alongside additional manuscripts under review at highly ranked international journals.
Viktoria Szenkurök defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Within- and Between-Country Heterogeneities in Long-Term Care: Providing Insights from the Perspective of Users and Providers" in October 2025.
In collaboration with the WU Institute for Social Policy, the HEP team continues teaching and managing the five-course WU Bachelor’s Specialization in Health and Social Policy. This specialization meets a strong demand, and currently its capacity is being increased to be able to admit more students.
