The WU is Part­ner in the Jean Mon­net Net­work Pro­gram „Ser­vices of Gen­eral In­terest in the EU: A Cit­izens’ Per­spect­ive on Pub­lic versus Private Pro­vi­sion“ (2014 – 2017)

In co­oper­a­tion with the part­ner­ing uni­versit­ies Uni­versità de­gli Studi di Mil­ano (Italy, lead Uni­versity), Ǻbo Aka­demi Uni­versity School of Busi­ness and Eco­nom­ics (Fin­land), Uni­versity of Green­wich (United King­dom), Uni­versität Leipzig (Ger­many), Uni­versité de Rouen (France), the WU is en­gaged in the Jean Mon­net Net­work. The Net­work aims at en­cour­aging the dif­fu­sion of in­nov­at­ive teach­ing ap­proaches, ap­plied re­search and policy de­bate on ser­vices of gen­eral in­terest (SGI) in the European Union from a cit­izens’ per­spect­ive.

Within this Net­work the WU sup­ports the Pro­gram through con­tri­bu­tions in teach­ing and re­search. The Pro­ject is co­ordin­ated by Tho­mas Kostal und Gab­riel Ober­mann
