Diversity at WU

Diversity and inclusion are a reality at WU. This is evidenced by a number of initiatives, including a diversity strategy that includes special tutor positions and activities with a broad impact.

Combating discrimination

Even though discrimination is banned under international, European, and national legislation, it still occurs in everyday life. As a public educational institution, WU places particular importance on providing a work and study environment that ensures equality for all of its students and employees.

Equal Opportunities and Inclusion

WU is committed to equal opportunities and inclusion, and it offers various programs and services that address these topics. The WU4YOU scholarship program, for example, supports socioeconomically disadvantaged bachelor’s students. The BeAble program provides assistance for people with physical and mental impairments, and WU’s Student Counselling team is on hand to help students master difficult situations in their lives.
