It is a great pleasure to welcome Oliver Himmler who is visiting our Department this term.

Oliver is Professor of Economics with a special focus on economic policy and public economics, at the University of Erfurt.

Some of you may recall that he presented the results of fascinating field experiments on improving academic performance in higher education in our seminar some time ago.

Next to the economics of education, he works on many interesting topics, including media economics (accountability of  journalism), labor economics, taxation, health economics, and more.

Oliver would be very happy get to know you and exchange ideas with you.
