  • From May 14 to May 16, Cristiana Dondi took part in the international conference Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) in a Changing World, held in Čatež ob Savi, Slovenia and organised by the Slovene Association of LSP Teachers (SDUTSJ) and the European Association of Languages for Specific Purposes (AELFE). The event brought together scholars and practitioners working in the field of Languages for Specific Purposes, fostering international exchange on specialised communication, language teaching, and interdisciplinary research. During the conference, Cristiana Dondi delivered a presentation focusing on the quantitative and qualitative results of her research project investigating the linguistic and communicative needs of companies operating in Austria.

  • On the May 22, Cristiana Dondi delivered a presentation in Düsseldorf (Germany) at the international conference L’italiano nel mondo: italofonia, plurilinguismo e pratiche educative (Italian language in the world: italofonia, multingualism, and educational practices), co-organised by the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and the Italian Association of Language Teachers ANILS. Her contribution examined the current state and future perspectives of teaching Italian for Economics and Business at Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences, comparing current Business Italian curricula with current communicative needs of Austrian companies with business ties to Italy.

  • Franzisca Weder and Florentina Höhs presented their research project „Nachhaltigkeitskommunikation als placemaking. Narrative Produktion von Raum durch die strategische Kommunikation erneuerbarer Energie Infrastrukturprojekte“ at the ÖGK (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Kommunikationswissenschaft) conference, taking place in Salzburg from May 6 to May 8, 2026.
