In their new study, Nina-Sophie Fritsch, Bernhard Riederer, and Lena Seewann analyse six domains of subjective well-being among different groups of single households in Vienna. They demonstrate that the old clichéd images of the “young, reckless, happy single” and the “lonely, poor, dissatisfied senior single” reverse reality.
