Join the 33rd European Workshop on Econometrics and Health Economics (EWEHE)

The Institute for Health Economics and Policy is pleased to host the 33rd European Workshop on Econometrics and Health Economics (EWEHE) from 26 to 28 August 2026. EWEHE is a long-standing international workshop series dedicated to the econometric analysis of health, health behaviors, health care financing and delivery, providing a well-established forum for academic exchange.

The workshop programme will consist of fourteen papers, each allocated one hour and comprising a presentation by the authors, followed by a response from a nominated discussant and general discussion. Participation is limited to around 40 participants to foster in-depth discussion and collaboration. Workshop participants are expected to attend the full meeting and contribute actively, either as an author, discussant, or chairperson. The call for papers is open until 1 June 2026, and submissions from PhD students and early career researchers are particularly encouraged.

Submission of papers

Papers will be selected based on full drafts. The submission deadline is 1 June 2026, and submissions should be accompanied by a completed registration form. Electronic submission of papers is required along with online registration.
 

Registration fee

Accepted participants are required to pay a registration fee of €515, which includes participation, hotel accommodation for three nights, and meals during the workshop. A reduced fee of €285 is available for participants registered as PhD students on 1 June 2026.
