Tatiana Karpukhina wins Innovative Teaching and Excellent Teaching awards!
Every year WU honors its lecturers for outstanding teaching. This year Tatiana Karpukhina have won teaching awards for Marketing Research Methods course (SBWL Marketing) in two categories: Innovative Teaching and Excellent Teaching!
Marketing Research Methods is one of the core courses in SBWL Marketing. In the last year COVID-19 have introduced quite some challenges for both students and lecturers at WU. With the aim to provide students with high-quality learning experience no matter the dire circumstances of the global pandemic, Tatiana has developed a new course concept. The course is set-up in an online format, offering students freedom and flexibility to learn practical analytical skills independently, yet establishing a regular student-lecturer communication principle to ensure students get the support they need.
The course design was evaluated in this year’s nomination “Seamless Learning” by a committee consisting of a student representative and experienced educators from DACH region. Based on this evaluation Tatiana have been awarded Innovative Teaching prize!
In the last few semesters student of SBWL Marketing have already been learning within the new course format and the results speak for themselves! A high number SBWL students have been inspired by the course and decided to nominated Tatiana for the Excellent Teaching Prize. Which she then also won!
