Birgit Rudloff has been awarded the Journal of Global Optimization Best Paper Award

The Journal of Global Optimization Best Paper Award was established by Springer in 2011. It is awarded annually for a paper published in the previous year and consists of $1,000 cash prize. The winners are selected by a committee consisting of several editorial board members.

Birgit Rudloff from the Institute for Statistics and Mathematics has been awarded the honorable mention in the 2025 Journal of Global Optimization Best Paper Award for her publication "Deep learning the efficient frontier of convex vector optimization problems".The article appeared 2024 in Journal of Global Optimization, Volume 90, 429-458.
