Sonja Fessler is a research associate at the Institute for Spatial and Real Estate Economics and is currently working on the project “Tolls That Work.” In parallel, she is completing the Master’s program in Economics (Science Track) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. As part of this, she is writing her Master’s thesis on “Acceptability and behavioural effects of city tolls” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Stefanie Peer, PhD. Her general research interests lie in the field of transport economics, with a particular focus on topics in behavioural economics, spatial economics, and distribution theory. In 2024, she worked as a research assistant at the Momentum Institute.
