Curriculum Vitae

(CV short version – PDF download, updated Dec 2023)

Marco completed his bachelor studies in economics and psychology at the University of Innsbruck and University of New Orleans. His focus was on HR and strategic management, as well as work and organizational psychology. He then studied Management (WU Vienna & Alliance Manchester Business School) and I/O-Psychology (University of Vienna). During his studies, Marco was involved in various research projects, including positions at the University of Innsbruck, University Vienna and WU.

Since October 2019, he is teaching and research associate (pre-doc) at the IVM. In his research, Marco incoporates his interdiciplinary background by applying a contextual lens to comparative HRM & new work phenomena (e.g. non-standard work arrangements and HR analytics). Next to that, he is interested in career studies, methodology and data visualization. The latter lead to the two R Shiny tools for the projects Cranet and ViCaPP.
