The First Wealth Cap Panel: Wealth · Democracy · Systemic Change. Paris, June 4 2026

The time has come for a European debate on extreme wealth. The Wealth Cap Project was launched in 2026 and, beginning this summer, will convene citizens’ assemblies across Europe to debate wealth caps in the years ahead.

On June 4, the launch event for the of the “Wealth Cap Project”  will be held at the Collège d’Espagne in Paris.

The panel brings together some of Europe’s leading voices to rethink extreme wealth, democracy, and systemic change. Drawing on academic, political, and social perspectives, the discussion will explore how we can imagine fairer economic alternatives and what kinds of systemic transformations are needed to address contemporary inequalities.
