The Center for Financial Education at the University of Economics and Business in Vienna promotes financial education at various levels. In affiliation with the Institute for Business Education, the center pools numerous projects to promote financial education by

• doing financial education research/financial literacy research

• developing teaching and learning programs on financial education topics for varying target groups

• evaluating financial education initiatives

• offering education and continuing education of teachers

• holding events on financial education topics

The Center also works closely with other institutes at the University of Economics and Business (WU), as well as many national and international organizations. A fact-oriented, multi-perspective approach to financial education topics, as well as the observance of the principles of scientific work are fundamental guiding principles of our work.
