3rd Conference of the European Network for Digital Democracy

The 3rd EDDY Conference brings together academics and practitioners working on digital democracy to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. The conference features contributed talks, interactive sessions, and keynote speakers including Manon Revel (Google DeepMind), Claes de Vreese (University of Amsterdam), and Graham Wetherall-Grujic (Innovation in Politics Institute, Berlin).

Topics include: online deliberation, liquid democracy, machine learning, participatory budgeting, digital identities, social media, and computational social choice.

Submission deadline: June 3rd, 2026

Notification: June 17th, 2026

Tutorial Day: September 23rd, 2026

The European Summer School on Artificial Intelligence

The European Summer School on Artificial Intelligence (ESSAI) is a central hub for PhD students and young researchers across all areas of AI. The 2026 edition offers a 5-day intensive program with over 30 lecturers across 6 parallel tracks, covering both introductory and advanced AI topics. It will be co-located with the 5th ACM Europe Digital Humanism Summer School and includes a networking reception at Vienna City Hall.

5th ACM Europe Digital Humanism Summer School: Democracy in the Digital Age
