WU Awards Ceremony

WU Awards Ceremony: Honoring Outstanding Achievements in Research and Teaching

On April 19, WU will be honoring the outstanding performance of its best teachers and researchers with a public Award Ceremony. Awards will be presented to the authors of scientific publications in top academic journals and to researchers involved in international, peer-reviewed research projects. The courses that best embody this year's theme "Reflection and Viability" will receive the 2012 Excellence in Teaching Award.

Ole Stenvinkel Nilsson, Director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance of CBS Learning Lab (Copenhagen Business School), will be the Keynote Speaker for the evening. The Award Ceremony begins at 5:00pm in the WU Festival Hall.

Award Ceremony focuses on WU's teachers and researchers

With this ceremony, the Rector's Council will be showing its recognition for outstanding achievements in research and teaching. The faculty members responsible for these achievements are the stars of the evening, and will be rewarded for their academic publications, research projects, and excellent courses. This year's Excellence in Teaching Award will focus on "Reflection and Viability," and goes to courses which are particularly successful in encouraging students to develop communication and professional skills.
